Apparent Project is facing the “famine months” this summer & early fall.
Usually there is a stockpile of financial provision accumulated from last year’s fall sales, and from months of fundraiser sales throughout the winter & spring. But not this year.[/one_half_last]

This year the famine began in February

 

It was a result of the previous 20 months of political unrest that occurred in Haiti. It caused sales to decrease & interest in helping Haiti to decline. Then… the Covid19 virus was introduced to the world and affected us all. Being in transition from a sales based non-profit… to a donor based one has been challenging during this season.

Our primary source of income… through sales based “gatherings” has been drastically reduced. Our party boxes & fundraisers operate mainly through in home & other events.

Our donor base is slowly growing, but we truly have need of the Josephs that God has raised up to help provide during this time of famine in the land.

Are you a Joseph prepared with financial resources that can help during our famine months?

Our urgent AP Haiti financial needs…

• $7000 needed for yearly rent due in July for our new additional building (which will provided classroom space so we can continue adding grades through 6th grade!) Note: Our $11,000 yearly rent for our current building was paid this spring.
• $2000 for our monthly fuel & maintenance for both buildings
• $1000 to set up & equip our new building.
• $12,000 for AP Haiti salaries for June. We have 22 AP Haiti staff & will need to hire 2-3 more staff members for the fall school year. This monthly amount will increase.
